Remember your very first concert? I do....At the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood, CA......went to go see KISS........and they put on one of their legendary shows....amazing! But the kicker for the night was really the opening act...a relatively obscure local band...led by a couple of very young guys named Ronnie Montrose and Sammy Hagar.........Montrose! Needless to say Sammy's career took off......Ronnies did not........but nonetheless a very memorable show! Please feel free to share your ........uh...first!

Your very first...concert!Went to Grand Forks to see Ratt....Bon Jovi opened up. Off topic but the best ever was the Monsters of Rock in Schweinfurt, Germany! Testament, Anthrax, David Lee Roth (solo), Kiss and IRON MAIDEN (other bands too, but too obscure/drunk to remember...LOL).....Maiden puts on the ultimate concert IMO!!! |

Your very first...concert!Anthrax opened up for KISS. I was 12. Kiss rocked, but Anthrax showed them up. Whatever happened to them? I thought they were just as good as Metallica. MOSH!

Your very first...concert!MY FIRST CONCERT WAS THE WHO IN CHICAGO BACK IN 1978. IT WAS A FEW DAYS AFTER THE TRAGEDY IN CINCINNATI.

Your very first...concert!The Allman Brothers at the Baltimore Civic Center, circa 1979. Duane,Greg,Dicky and the boys were incredible. Went and saw them 3 more times over the next few years,last time unfortunately without Duane (RIP). Think I still have the tiket stub. Great blog Apes!! |

Your very first...concert!Metallica....and justice for all tour 1989 Starwood Amp. in Nashville, down in the front center stage. Someone gave me their ticket because they were just going to chill on the hill. Still one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
